The Grand Tour is a bit like the “best of” old Yugoslavia fit into 16 days. This small group tour of Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and a touch of Montenegro has the obvious tourist ‘hits’ like Dubrovnik, Split and Lake Bled. And with our tours, there always a good selection of places that are left off many other tours but quite deserving in their own right. The amazing countryside and mountain villages in Bosnia, the wine and food of Slovenia or the crooked alleyways in Rovinj usually end up on guests’ favorites places of the tour.

We don’t like to rush guests from one hotel to the next so we spend 2 and 3 nights at all of the places. That gives everyone more time to explore the towns and get a better feel for the way of life. Lodging is selected based on location, quality and atmosphere. No socialist concrete hotels from the Yugoslav days or hotels 5 kilometers outside the old towns for our guests.

It’s possible to add on extra days in front of the tour or at the end. Activities like sailing around the Kornati islands, a visit to Plitvice Lakes or outdoor activities in Slovenia's magnificent Julian Alps are possible. Just let us know your preferences.
