“We had a great time. Our guide Sacha was great - I highly recommend her services to anyone.  She is extraordinarily knowledgeable and personable, with nearly perfect American English. We found Ljubljana to be quite a laid back capital city, and very much enjoyed spending our evenings in a sidewalk cafe, watching locals and tourists stroll the riverwalk. The entire Soca Valley was not only lovely, but offered quite a bit in terms of sobering history. The drive into the Karst region was interesting, particularly seeing the change in topography, architecture, flora and fauna. I probably enjoyed the farmhouse stay the most of any our accommodations, particularly the meals. We have visited quite a few caverns and caves throughout the Americas and in Asia, but the Skocjan cave had the most dramatic and dizzying heights of any that we have seen - the views down to the river on the cave floor were spectacular.”
